Geometric glitter nail art

An easy geometric glitter design is perfect for when you're in a hurry but still want some eye catching nails!

I used this gorgeous red and blue Starry Holographic Glitter Powder (ID = 39115) by Bornprettystore. The little container contains around 1.5g-1.8g of red and blue powder. While I'm absolutely in love with the stunning bright red and blue colors (how could I not with my two favorite colors in one powder!), I don't see any holographic effect. It could have a tiny holo shine in the sun, but unfortunately it was too cloudy to find out. If you want holo I would suggest checking out these awesome powders I used in my unicorn design.

It does however have another cool effect! As you can see in the picture below depending on how you look at it, you will see either more blue or red. It might not be as special as holo, but it still kept me fascinated.

I tried the powder with normal polish (you can see what this looks like in the tutorial below) and on top of my no wipe gel top coat by madam glam, but I doesn't look as good with normal polish and didn't stick to my no wipe top coat at all.

For this mani I used one thick coat of "Soul Mate" by Madam Glam as my base and cured it for 30 seconds. Then rub and press the powder onto the cured color. Remove all the excess glitter with a fan brush, apply a top coat and cure for another 30 seconds.

Then for the geometric design, dot a couple times with white polish, gel or acrylic paint using a tiny dotting tool. Use a detail or liner brush to connect all the dots to each other and apply a gel or normal top coat  to seal in the design.

  2. I love to beautify my nails, but honestly, I'm not that great at it. That's why I always preferred buying press-on nails from Amazon (like these). However, your nail ideas look quite easy to try. I loved all your ideas and will surely try these trending ones this weekend.
