Geometric Reverse Stamping Nail Art -- Born Pretty Review --
I think I just found my favorite stamping plate ever!
For the base I wanted to use "Electric Pearl" by HM, but it was too sheer to use on it's own. Instead I applied 2 coats "Sand Tropez" first and then 3 coats of "Electric Pearl" by HM to get the shimmery effect.
I used "Midnight cami" by Essie for stamping and then filled some parts using a little dotting tool and "getting groovy" by Essie. If you don't have a small dotting tool, you can use a small nail art brush or even a toothpick. Then immediately stamp the design on your nail. Make sure to wait until the polish is completely dry before applying a top coat so you don't smear the design.
For this design I used the Rectangle Geometry Design Stamping Plate (ID=36312) from Bornprettystore and I absolutely love it! The patterns are gorgeous and perfect for an accent nail or to decorate all your nails. I've seen designs using this plate with negative space, reverse stamping, normal stamping and they all look amazing. There are so many different patterns that you can use a different one on each nail while they still fit together.
It was a little bit more difficult to get the full design on my stamper compared to all the other Bornprettystore plates I have. The problem with this plate is that there are a lot of straight lines in which your scraper can get stuck. The lines are also in every direction so it's a bit tricky to avoid them, but after a couple scrapes I managed to get the full pattern covered.
Overall I think this is a stunning plate and I'm definitely going to use it again. These are my favorite stamping nails I've done so far, so I would definitely recommend this plate to everyone!
