“Then,” said the cat, “it really doesn’t matter, does it?”
Last week I finally saw "Alice through the looking glass" and I have always loved Alice in wonderland since I was little. I've seen (own) every movie and read both books when I was younger. One of my favorite ones is probably the BBC mini-series "Alice", which is a sort of modern version of Alice in Wonderland. If you haven't seen it you should definitely check it out! It does last 4 hours though so make sure you have time! :)
On my gears and clocks nails I applied 2 coats of a white polish from Hema (nr 809) for the base and sponged a gradient of "530 Up In The Air" by Catrice Cosmetics, "325 Raindrop" by New York Color, and the same white polish on top. For my ring finger I used 2 coats of "325 Raindrop" by New York Color.
The stamping plate is a 12*6cm (4.7*2.4inch) rectangle robot design image plate (ID=30335) and I used the Silicone Jelly Stamper (ID=26498) both by Born Pretty Store (you can check my review here). Even though it's a robot plate, it has a lot of different gears and one gorgeous clock that was absolutely perfect for this design. For the clocks/gears I used "Neo Noir" by H&M, the same white polish again from Hema, and "460 In the Bronx" by Catrice Cosmetics. You can see how I did them in the tutorial below! (PS. it's pretty easy!)
The Cheshire Cat is hand-painted using Carbon Black, White and Aqua Jo Sonja's acrylic paint, the "Tartofraises roubloff detail 00" brush by Adnails Manucure, and a small flat brush I bought on ebay.
