I'm a bit late but here are my nails for Earth Day! I went a little outside of Earth for my inspiration and included some other planets as well. *tutorial included*
The base is two coats of "530 Pearly Blue Peacock" by Kiko Milano. I am absolutely in love with this gorgeous blue glitter polish with teal, gold and silver shimmers. The polish is so sparkly and looks amazing in the sun!
Close-up of Venus and Earth. These two are definitely my favorite ones of the bunch.
All the planets are hand-painted using Jo Sonja's acrylic paint. I used the "Tartofraises roubloff detail 00" brush by Adnails Manucure and the "Edinburgh Realism 3" brush by Stylishnailartshop.
Close-up of Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune. These were so much fun to do and look at all week, I wish they could stay on my nails longer!
Here are some examples of things you can do to help Earth:
- Walk to work, cycle or take public transport
- Make sure you recycle
- Take a tote bag to the shop
- Go meat or dairy free at least once a week
- Use a reusable water bottle
- Buy local produce
