I just moved to Spain for my last semester in college (so exciting!!) and this mani is inspired by the Carnaval that has been going on all week. Everyone has been dressing up everyday and the city is decorated with a lot of carnival masks, so my nails are joining the party! *tutorial included*
For the background I wanted to create a confetti effect which I did by dotting three different OPI colors: "You're such a Budapest", "Keeping Suzi at Bay", and "I Carol About You".
You definitely have to make sure that you wait enough in between dotting different colors and when you put on a top coat when you're done. I didn't wait long enough so a couple blobs are a little smeared, but I still love them!
The design is hand-painted using Jo Sonja's acrylic paint and the "Edinburgh Realism 3" brush by Stylishnailartshop.
